Glasgow have named an unchanged starting XV for Monday's Magners League clash with Edinburgh at Firhill.
The Warriors lost 36-10 to four-time European champions Toulouse on Tuesday in the Heineken Cup, but head coach Sean Lineen has resisted making changes for the first bout of a double-header between Scotland's two professional sides.
The only change to the matchday 23 from the loss in Toulouse sees the return of hooker Dougie Hall on the replacements' bench, with nine Scotland internationals in the Warriors' starting line-up.
Glasgow won both matches last season to regain the 1872 Cup, but the tides have changed since then as the teams are currently separated by seven Magners League points - Edinburgh three places above their rivals in the table.
"This is it," said Lineen. "This is the derby double and it's fantastic. These games have been brilliant the last few years.
"The players have got right up for them and they've got a real edge to them.
"There are so many head-to-heads, individual one-on-one battles and reasons to do well."
The first match between the sides takes place on Monday, with the return at Murrayfield on January 2.
