Gloucester too strong for Sarries

Gloucester laid down a huge marker ahead of their Aviva Premiership rematch with Saracens in a fortnight at Kingsholm by thrashing the Londoners 36-10 in the LV= Cup.

Charlie Sharples, James Simpson-Daniel, Henry Trinder (two) and Olivier Azam were the try-scorers for the Cherry and Whites, beaten finalists in the competition for the last two years.

James Short touched down for Saracens' only try of the game, with Owen Farrell kicking the rest of their points.
