Great Britain got their hands on some silverware at the rugby sevens in Moscow.

Fielding two teams as they fine tune their preparations for this summer's Olympics, Great Britain Royals won the Plate final with a 15-12 victory over Georgia.

Great Britain Lions had earlier secured their place in the Cup semi-finals after a comfortable 36-0 win over the Georgians.

Tries from Phil Burgess and Dan Norton then put the Lions 10-5 up against Russia at half-time, but the hosts fought back to win 17-10 and went on to lift the main trophy.

Great Britain Lions finished the tournament ranked third, with the Royals coming fifth.

Head coach Simon Amor will whittle his squad down to 12 before Great Britain travel to Brazil.
