Christmas win will wrap it up nicely for Kiss

By Michael Sadlier

Les Kiss wants Ulster to take a winning feeling into Christmas after tomorrow night's Irish derby clash with Connacht in the PRO12 at a sold out Kingspan Stadium (kick-off 7.35).

"We hope to go into Christmas happy," said the Australian as his side prepare to play just five days after the hurt of being mauled 38-19 at Clermont in the European Champions Cup.

"But you have to get on with the here and now," he added of tomorrow's last home game of 2016, followed by a trip to Leinster on New Year's Eve.

"Connacht is a big game in terms of what we have coming with the two interpros," Kiss underlined, with fifth-placed Ulster aiming to get their league season back on track with a needed home win.
