Hartley suffers bruised lung

England hooker Dylan Hartley is to be reassessed next week after suffering bruising to a lung in Saturday's 30-22 QBE International defeat to New Zealand.

Hartley was replaced in the 52nd minute by Tom Youngs after sustaining the injury while making a tackle and was taken to hospital before being discharged

The 27-year-old was assessed by England's medical team on Sunday morning and has returned to his club Northampton.

"Dylan has been discharged into the care of Northampton," a Rugby Football Union statement read.

"Dylan will require a few days' rest and will be reassessed by his club's medical team next week."
