Hurricanes secure fifth straight Super Rugby success

Hurricanes recorded a fifth straight win to beat Melbourne Rebels 38-13 in their Super Rugby clash at AAMI Park.

After falling behind to an early converted score from Dom Shipperley, the visitors took command of the match in the first half as tries from Victor Vito, Cory Jane, Beauden Barrett and Jason Woodward gave them a 26-8 lead.

Ardie Savea touched down another try on the hour, with Barrett running in again before Cameron Crawford ‏added a consolation for the Rebels.

Hurricanes, last year's Super Rugby runners-up, next take on the Chiefs at Westpac Stadium.
