Injured Wilson to miss final

Ryan Wilson is out of Glasgow Warriors' RaboDirect PRO12 final against Leinster after undergoing surgery on his shoulder.

The 25-year-old back-row man, who has nine Scotland caps, sustained the injury in training and, according to the club's website, is " expected to be out of action for several months", which means he will miss the Dublin final on May 31.

Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: "We're all disappointed for Ryan that he'll miss the final in a couple of weeks.

"Thankfully it's not the same shoulder he injured last summer, but it's a setback for him after he's had another very good season with us.

"We wish him all the best with his rehab."
