Ireland edge past France to keep title bid on track
Ireland moved level on points with Women's Six Nations leaders England after maintaining their unbeaten record by edging past France 13-10 in Dublin.
The hosts had a 3-0 lead at half-time courtesy of Nora Stapleton's penalty but then fell behind shortly after the break when Caroline Ladagnous scored a try that was converted by Jessy Tremouliere.
Ireland hit back in the 50th minute through a Leah Lyons try and after that effort was converted by Stapleton she also added a penalty, with a subsequent one from Tremouliere being all the French could manage in reply.
The two remaining rounds of games see Tom Tierney's second-placed side play away against Wales - who are fourth, a point behind France - before hosting England in a potential title-decider on March 17.
