Italy fall to shock Tonga defeat
Sonatane Takulua kicked a last-minute penalty to give Tonga a first victory over Italy since the 1999 World Cup.
The Newcastle Falcons player, who had already scored 11 points with his boot, sealed a 19-17 success at the Stadio Euganeo in Padua.
Italy had looked on course for victory following Edoardo Padovani's 78th-minute penalty, which added to converted tries from Lorenzo Cittadini and Tommaso Allan.
Siale Piutau touched down in the 52nd minute to keep the Tongans in contention before Takulua snatched a memorable victory in the final moments.
