Jones shines in Dragons win
Young stand-off Steffan Jones pulled the strings as the Newport Gwent Dragons coasted to a 29-15 RaboDirect PRO12 win over an Edinburgh side who have yet to beat a Welsh team in the league this season.
A couple of cracking tries from right wing Tonderai Chavhanga early in the first half allowed the Dragons to get their noses in front and they were never really threatened after that on their way to completing a league double over the Gunners.
In an almost immaculate place-kicking performance Jones converted both the tries and contributed three penalties to which his replacement Lewis Robling added two more.
Edinburgh showed some nice individual touches but continually let themselves down with poor handling that brought any attacking position to a halt.
Fly-half Harry Leonard did take the eye and his five penalties from five attempts brought Edinburgh all their points.
