Kieran Read and Richie Mo'unga star as Crusaders defeat Blues

The Crusaders responded to their opening-round defeat with a 28-13 win over the Blues on Friday.

All Black Kieran Read's 67th-minute try proved crucial in giving the Crusaders some clear breathing space, with a penalty try having got them going in the first half.

Richie Mo'unga also punted three penalties, with the Blues' late rally - including a converted Tevita Li try - snuffed out by Mo'unga scoring a last-minute score, taking his personal tally to 18.
