Lamont cleared over fracture fears

Scotland winger Sean Lamont did not suffer a fractured ankle during Glasgow's win at Ospreys, his club have confirmed.

Lamont was stretchered off during his side's 28-16 RaboDirect Pro12 victory in Swansea on Friday night and tests have shown ligament damage.

A Warriors statement read: "He will require a further review with the consultant at Spire Murrayfield over the next few weeks to determine the length of time he will remain on the sidelines for. A further update will be provided following this assessment."
