Scarlets prop Samson Lee has been called up to train with the Wales squad as cover for tighthead Adam Jones.
Ospreys player Jones was named in Rob Howley's 35-man squad for Wales' autumn engagements against Argentina, Samoa, New Zealand and Australia on Monday, but has been struggling with a knee injury.
Lee, 19, who featured in the Wales Under-20 side's victory over New Zealand in the Junior World Championship in the summer, will join the squad which heads to Poland for a pre-series training camp on Sunday.
Jones will also travel to Spala, where Wales prepared for last year's World Cup in New Zealand.
Interim head coach Howley said: "In order to get the best out of Spala, it is important for us that the squad is able to work at an optimum level.
"Samson has been called in as a precaution to train with the squad, as cover for Adam and to ensure that the squad can get through the work it needs to over the seven or eight days we are away in order to maximise our gain from the camp."
