Leinster boys too classy for Ulster

Leinster's under-20 side simply crushed their Ulster counterparts 33-13 in last night's inter-provincial battle at Donnybrook.

A dominant first half by the Leinster men led to a 17-3 interval advantage and although Ulster had the better of the final quarter the home team had built up too much of a lead.

The championship was won by Connaught who had a convincing victory over Munster.

Ulster scored the best try of the encounter when, following an attack started inside their own '22', Rory Scholes ran in for an unconverted try.

Earlier Peter Nelson had kicked a first half penalty. Ulster's other try was scored by John Andrew but overall the superior Leinster team deserved their success.

Munster produced a vintage display to maintain their winning start to the RaboDirect PRO12 as they won away to Cardiff 18-13.
