Gloucester flanker Ross Moriarty has been cited following an incident in the European Rugby Challenge Cup final against Edinburgh last Friday.

Moriarty is alleged to have struck Fraser McKenzie with his knee in the 54th minute of the match at the Twickenham Stoop, which Gloucester won 19-13.

A hearing will be held on Dublin on Thursday with sanctions ranging from a three-week ban for a low end ruling up to a year for serious incidents, if the player is found guilty.
