New Reds deal for McKenzie

Published 21/01/2012

Ewen McKenzie has signed a 12-month contract extension to keep him as the Queensland Reds coach until the end of the 2014 season.

McKenzie guided the club to a maiden Super Rugby title last season - just his second in charge since taking over from Phil Mooney in 2010.

Chairman Rod McCall and CEO Jim Carmichael have also agreed new deals with the club, both for three years.

"We've done a good job the last couple of years, but there's still a lot of work to be done and a number of challenges ahead in the current landscape," McKenzie said.
