Norton tries boost England

England had the heroics of Dan Norton to thank as they claimed the bowl title at the Tokyo Sevens.
Norton scored eight tries in three games to secure eight points for England after a disappointing opening day saw them drop down to the bowl competition.
Hat-tricks in both the 40-0 victory over Portugal and then closely-contested 21-19 win over Wales meant former Bristol wing Norton was already the key man for England. But the 24-year-old then continued his rich vein of form by touching down twice in the 38-0 final against Argentina and is now the competitions' leading try scorer.
The eight points leave England 10th in the overall standings, whilst Wales are seventh.
Scotland were the only home nation to progress into the cup quarter-finals but fell to a 14-10 defeat to France, meaning they sit 12th in the standings.
With two legs of the series remaining, in Glasgow and London, it is New Zealand who hold a 32-point lead at the top of the standings but South Africa closed the gap after recording a 24-19 victory over the Kiwis in the Tokyo cup final.
