O'Shea extends Quins stay

Harlequins rugby director Conor O'Shea has agreed a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

Quins have announced terms for O'Shea, plus head coach John Kingston and skills coach Collin Osborne, until 2016.

It follows contract extensions last year for Quins defence coach and academy manager Tony Diprose and backs coach Mark Mapletoft.

The O'Shea-led coaching team masterminded four trophy successes in the last three seasons, highlighted by winning the 2012 Premiership title.

"I am very privileged to be asked to continue as director of rugby at Harlequins and would like to thank the club's owners and the board for this opportunity," O'Shea said.

"Every day I go into the club I meet a group of coaches, players and support staff that wants to be the best they can be and wants to bring success to a club that belongs at the top of the game."
