Former Wales scrum-half Dwayne Peel is to join Bristol next season after agreeing a two-year contract.

The 32-year-old, who amassed 76 caps and was part of Grand Slam victories in 2005 and 2008, will leave Sale Sharks in June.

"Dwayne's decision to join us is a major coup and a real indication of the direction we want to go in," Bristol director of rugby Andy Robinson said.
