Phibbs to remain at Exeter

Exeter have confirmed that Australian scrum-half Pat Phibbs will remain with the Aviva Premiership club until the end of the season.

The former Brumbies half-back was brought in on a short-term deal in September with Junior Poluleuligaga away at the World Cup with Samoa.

But the Australia A cap has impressed head coach Rob Baxter, and will now remain at Sandy Park for the rest of the campaign.

"Pat's deserved it, he's earned it the hard way," said Baxter.
