Rankings rise for England
England have climbed one place to fifth in the International Rugby Board world rankings despite their 26-16 defeat against New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday.
Martin Johnson's men swap places with Ireland, who were beaten 23-21 by world champions South Africa in Dublin.
England's move is the solitary change among the top 20-ranked nations.
New Zealand remain way ahead, more than five ranking points clear of Australia, with the Springboks third and France fourth.
Scotland, who start their autumn Test campaign against New Zealand next Saturday, are seventh, just in front of Argentina, with Wales ninth.
