Sale Sharks centre Johnny Leota signs contract extension

Sale Sharks centre Johnny Leota has agreed a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

Sale said that Leota, who joined the Sharks in 2011, had signed for an additional two years.

The 32-year-old Samoa international has made more than 100 appearances for Sale, and he is an integral part of their Premiership play-off push this season.

Leota said: " I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the club, and my family are settled in the north west.

"I am looking forward to playing my part at the club for the next two years at least."
