Saracens move for Italy cap Vunisa

Saracens have signed versatile Italy back-rower Samuela Vunisa from Guinness Pro 12 club Zebre.

The 26-year-old, who is capable of playing right across the back-row, has won three caps for Italy and will link up with the Aviva Premiership club before the start of the 2015-16 season.

"I've heard lot of good things about Saracens, about how they treat their players and how strong a side they are," Vunisa told the official club website.

"Last season they got to two finals and played some fantastic rugby.

"I'm really looking forward to linking up with such a strong squad and hopefully improving as a player in a new environment."

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall said Fijian-born Vunisa w ould add power to the London outfit's squad.

"Samu has clearly made a strong impression in his appearances for Italy and his strong running and ball carrying ability are valuable assets in the modern game," McCall said.
