Scarlets end on a high

Scarlets scored three late tries to seal a convincing 40-19 LV= Cup victory over Leicester Tigers at Parc y Scarlets.

Both teams had already been eliminated from the semi-finals and the home side were indebted to tries from wing Andy Fenby, full-back Gareth Owen and centre Nic Reynolds in the final 10 minutes which backed up seven penalties from fly-half Owain Williams.

Thomas Waldrom and Andy Forsyth crossed for the Tigers, who were also awarded a penalty try.
