Scarlets send Glasgow off summit

Liam Williams went over as the Scarlets moved into the top four

Glasgow were knocked off the top of the RaboDirect PRO12 table after going down 29-6 to the Scarlets, who climbed back into the play-off places with a comfortable win at Parc y Scarlets.

The Scarlets were indebted to tries from hooker Ken Owens and Liam Williams as well as 19 points from the boot of outside-half Owen Williams.

Ulster replace Glasgow, whose six points came courtesy of two Ruaridh Jackson penalties, atop the standings while the Scarlets' presence in the top four could be short-lived if the Ospreys beat Treviso at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday night.
