Scarlets too strong for Treviso

Wing Sean Lamont scored two tries but the Scarlets made heavy weather of their 35-27 Heineken Cup victory over Benetton Treviso at Parc y Scarlets.

Regan King and Iestyn Thomas were the other try-scorers for Scarlets, with Stephen Jones and Rees Priestland kicking the rest of their points.

Gonzalo Garcia, Tommaso Benvenuti and Fabio Semenzato touched down for the hard-working visitors, while Chris Burton contributed 12 points with three conversions, a penalty and a drop-goal.
