As two of Ulster’s premier rugby schools, Belfast Royal Academy and Ballymena Academy win a lot more than they lose, for which reason last weekend contravened the norm with both having been beaten.

It was an eventful competition this year in the Schools Cup with Methody topping the tile with a 16-0 win over RBAI. It was also a close affair in the Schools Cup Pick the Score competition with not much to seperate the top 2 players.

Methodist College Medallion team who won the Medallion Shield at Ravenhill on Saturday 21 March, defeating Campbell College 12-10. This enabled MCB to claim the 'double' by winning the Schools Cup alongside the Medallion Shield.
