Methody set up final with old rivals Inst

By Jonathan Bradley

The Dankse Bank Schools' Cup final will once again be contested by the competition's two most successful sides after Methody powered their way past Belfast Royal Academy yesterday.

The South Belfast school ran in six tries at Kingspan Stadium, with centre Paul Kerr helping himself to a hat-trick in the 37-21 win.

RBAI now await in the final, with Dan Soper's side looking to write their names in the history books with a third consecutive title on St Patrick's Day.

"There's nothing better than the feeling of a Schools' Cup final," said Methody captain Matty Loane.

"It's the Old Firm now so that's what you look forward to."
