Schools’ Cup: Bangor Grammar v Friends

Published 21/01/2011

Bangor Grammar have home advantage and having already beaten Friends this term, could have the edge at Ballymacormick Road (10.30am).

Bangor reached the third round last year before losing to Dalriada, but they have a much better team now. This has been borne out by their results against some of the top teams and they will be very difficult to overcome on their own territory.

For their part, Friends are not as strong as previous years, but that is partly due to a long run of injuries. They are well organised, but will need to be at their best to come away with a victory.
