Swinson misses out for Scotland

Scotland have been forced to make a change to their pack for Saturday's final Autumn Test against Australia at Murrayfield.

Glasgow Warriors lock Tim Swinson aggravated a chest injury sustained originally against Japan during training on Wednesday afternoon and has returned to the care of his club's medical team.

Grant Gilchrist, the 23-year-old Edinburgh second-rower, steps up to the starting team in place of Swinson to win his fourth cap.

Gilchrist's place on the bench will be taken by Jonny Gray, who won his first cap against South Africa last week.

The Scotland back division and substitutes will be finalised later this afternoon as the management run the rule over Glasgow winger Tommy Seymour, who sustained a leg knock against the Springboks.
