Tigers secure home semi-final

Leicester stayed on course for a record ninth successive Aviva Premiership final after they booked a home play-off semi-final with a comfortable 32-20 victory over London Irish in their final game of the regular season.

Leicester scored five tries through Tom Croft, Ben Youngs, Mathew Tait, Vereniki Goneva and Toby Flood, who kicked the rest of their points, in a win at Welford Road which guarantees them second place behind Saracens and a home semi-final against Harlequins next Saturday.

Irish's tries were scored by Alex Corbisiero, Topsy Ojo and Marland Yarde, with Ian Humphreys landing a penalty and conversion.
