Australia forward Sitaleki Timani has been cited for allegedly striking an opponent during Saturday's Test match against Italy in Florence, the Six Nations committee have announced.
Waratahs lock Timani, 26, was reported by match commissioner Freek Burger following the 13th-minute incident.
The time and date of Timani's disciplinary hearing has yet to be confirmed.
Australia saw Timani's fellow second row Rob Simmons receive an eight-week suspension earlier this month after he was cited for a dangerous tackle in the Wallabies' appointment with France.
Simmons, though, is to appeal the ban.
Australia conclude their European tour against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.
