New Zealand winger Nehe Milner-Skudder suffered what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury in the Hurricanes' Super Rugby victory over the Blues.

The Hurricanes claimed their first victory of the Super Rugby season with a thrilling 23-19 victory at the Blues.

Scrum-half TJ Perenara crossed either side of half-time to add to Victor Vito's try and Beauden Barrett kicked eight points, while Rene Ranger and George Moala scored tries for the Blues.

Two late Ihaia West penalties gave the Blues hope of a second win in three games, but the Hurricanes held on despite losing Vito to a yellow card and All Blacks winger Nehe Milner-Skudder to what appeared to be a nasty shoulder injury.
