Stephen Ferris is set to launch his autobiography next month, titled Man and Ball.

The much-loved Ulster and Ireland rugby star earned the respect and admiration of fans across the island for his strength, pace, skill and courage on the field.

But his career was brought to a devastating end by ankle injuries.

Eason says the autobiography is the must-have rugby book of the year, describing it as "fearless, funny and full of an incredible array of stories from behind the scenes of Ulster, Ireland and the Lions".

Ferris will release the book on 22 September at an event in the Europa Hotel in Belfast hosted by BBC sports presenter Stephen Watson.

Fans will be treated to an interview and a signed copy of Man and Ball.

'Eason Presents: Stephen Ferris in conversation’ takes place on Tuesday 22 September at the Europa Hotel Belfast at 8pm. Tickets are on sale here.
