Ulster v Newport Gwent Dragons: Ravenhill on red alert

Published 01/12/2010

Ulster are confident that despite the winter weather which has affected so much sport in the past few days, Ravenhill will be playable on Friday night.

Ulster’s players trained on the Ravenhill pitch yesterday. Flanker Willie Faloon said:

“If we were meant to play now we’d be able to do that, no problem.”

With this being Ulster’s last outing before the Heineken Cup resumes, the covers were on last night and these will be in place until a few hours before kick-off on Friday night (7:05pm).
