Wales can impress selectors: Jones

Published 05/06/2009

Wales wing Mark Jones believes his team-mates can finish the season on a high against the United States tomorrow and stake their claims for international involvement heading into the next campaign.

"On Saturday the guys have another chance to say ‘pick me’," Jones said.

"We all have a chance to finish the season on a high and enter next pre-season feeling good about yourself that the Welsh management are looking at you with the autumn internationals and the following Six Nations coming up.

"So there’s plenty for the players still to fight for, with future places up for grabs."
