Wales international Eli Walker lands longer Ospreys deal

Wales wing Eli Walker has signed a one-year contract extension with the Ospreys.

The Welsh region announced that 23-year-old Walker's deal will keep him at the Liberty Stadium until at least 2017.

Walker made his Test debut in a World Cup warm-up game against Ireland this summer, and he was drafted into Wales' World Cup squad as an injury replacement during the tournament, although he did not feature in the competition.

"It has been a bit of a roller coaster for me these last few months, but I'm back playing for the Ospreys and really looking forward to making an impact over the remainder of this season, and next year as well now," Walker said.
