Wales move above England

Wales have climbed above England in the latest International Rugby Board world rankings published on Monday.

Wales won the Triple Crown and stayed top of the RBS 6 Nations Championship after a gripping 19-12 victory over England at Twickenham on Saturday.

As a result, Wales move up one place to fifth, swapping positions with England.

The top four countries at the end of this year will be the seeded teams at World Cup 2015 in England.

Those positions are currently filled by reigning world champions New Zealand, Australia, France and South Africa.

Ireland, comfortable conquerors of Italy on Saturday, remain in eighth spot, while Scotland stay 11th following a 23-17 home defeat against France.
