Warriors hit De Waal

Willem de Waal kicked 14 points as Benetton Treviso battled past Glasgow Warriors 19-16 in a low-scoring Magners League basement battle.

After a first half containing just two penalties for each team, home flanker Robert Barbieri and Glasgow centre Graeme Morrison traded tries with the visitors a man short.

A penalty apiece left the scores still level but De Waal's drop-goal clinched victory for the hosts. Ruaridh Jackson kicked 11 of Glasgow's points but his two penalty misses ultimately proved crucial.
