Rugby World Cup: Ireland are in with a shout
Ireland have the world at their feet
Ireland's inspirational skipper Paul O'Connell and his team are ready to roar in the World Cup and can't wait to get down to business.
Joe Schmidt's men expect to start their campaign with a convincing victory over Canada in Cardiff tomorrow, building momentum for tougher group matches ahead against Italy and France.
The tournament kicks off tonight with England facing Fiji at Twickenham, but Irish eyes will be on the Millennium stadium on Saturday, watching a team with a genuine chance of World Cup glory.
After Schmidt named his side for the Canada game, which included Ulster stars Rory Best, Jared Payne and Iain Henderson, captain O'Connell said: "The excitement is massive. We are here in good shape and ready for the challenges ahead."
