Zebre run out of steam

Bottom side Zebre missed out on their fourth RaboDirect PRO12 win of the season as a late Jevon Groves try and Jason Tovey conversion saw Newport Gwent Dragons salvage a 25-25 draw at Stadio XXV Aprile.

The Italians took the lead through Samuela Vunisa's early try while Taulupe Faletau was in the sin bin but Dan Evans and Ashley Smith both crossed for the visitors after Gonzalo Garcia's penalty, with a Tovey conversion and penalty keeping the game in the balance.

Zebre fly-half Luciano Orquera kicked five penalties as the Italians claimed a 25-18 lead, but Groves made a break from a ruck and raced away to score the crucial try, which Tovey converted to tie the game.
