Born2Run: Results, video and pictures from Minnowburn forest run
It may be All Souls' Day today but it was all soles day on Saturday as hundreds of runners put their best foot forward to get the Belfast Telegraph's Run Forest Run series off to a good start.
Around 600 runners of all ages - some in Halloween fancy dress - flocked to south Belfast to tackle the 10k event.
It was the first in a series of runs organised by Born2Run Events and forthcoming outings will include Gosford Forest in Co Armagh.
On Saturday, however, the action centred on Minnowburn and the race also took in the Mary Peters Track, home of Northern Ireland Athletics.
It was a race that really had it all, taking runners through track, forest trails, country roads, National Trust property at Minnowburn and back along the banks of the Lagan.
