Girls get in step for Runher

Lace up your trainers ladies, Runher Titanic 10K is this Sunday. Established in 2007, Belfast Telegraph Runher is Northern Ireland's largest female-only running event.

The popular race is open to walkers, joggers and runners – and we have added an new element for school children. The Big School Run starts at noon before the main 10K event at 2pm.

Dominican College, Fortwilliam, pupils Aoife McCann, Lucy McEwan, Melissa Corey, Laoise Jennings, Orlaith McBride and Ailbhe MacRuagain, have been taking part in a final training session ahead of this weekend's autumn challenge. The Big School Run is open to all secondary level school students individually, both male and female and from first to sixth year.
