Run Forest Run: Loughgall 10k

Loughgall 10K is the third race in this year’s Belfast Telegraph Run Forest Run Series organised by Born2Run Events.

Loughgall 10K is the 3rd race in the Belfast Telegraph Run Forest Run Series organised by BORN2RUN Events and a new venue for this year.  Loughgall set in the heart of Armagh, known as the Orchard County and where the World famous Bramley Apple originated. The race starts close to the Reception in the park and in the first kilometre takes you through the picturesque village of Loughgall, returning into the Loughgall Estate via the impressive main gates. The route takes in the forest paths around the estate passing the golf course and lake. Join us and enter online.

Race Start Times

Start Venue: Loughgall Country Park, 11-14 Main Street, Loughgall, Armagh. BT61 8HZ (see map under “Location” tab).

10K Race Starts: 11.00am

Parking

Free parking for all runners, please car share where possible and follow marshals instructions for parking.

Event Registration

Registration packs can be collected on the day at the building on the right as you enter through the barriers into car park, and will be clearly signposted on the day.

10K Race: Saturday 5th December 2015 9.00am – 10.30am

Entry Fees

Online (before 11pm on Wednesday 2nd December 2015) and for option of posting out race pack (before 11pm Wednesday 25th November 2015)

10K RACE: £19 (plus £3 if postage option chosen)

Strictly no pets allowed to run the RUN FOREST RUN race with owners!

Water Stations

There will be no water station on this 10K route so if you require water please make arrangements to carry it with you.

Toilet Facilities

Toilet facilities are available in the Registration building and the changing rooms where showers are also available.

Post Race Refreshments

Complimentary refreshments will be served in the yard buildings behind the main reception at approximately 12.15pm.

Footwear

Running shoes are suitable for all the terrain on the 10K route.

2. Where do I park?

There is a car park in the grounds of Loughgall Country Park which will be free to entrants on the day, however we would encourage car sharing where possible.

3. What does my entry fee include?

The race starts and finishes close to the Registration building.

6. Will I receive any information in the post prior to race day?

Confirmation of your race entry will be sent to you automatically via email from Paypal after your payment is made. If you choose the option to have your Race Pack posted out to you before the day then this should arrive with you no later than Wednesday 2nd December 2015. Otherwise your race number and chip timing will be given to you at Registration on the morning of the race.

7. Will I have to sign a disclaimer?

Yes, by entering the race you will be bound by the event disclaimer which you agreed to at time of registration.
