Bullets mailed to jailbirds
Celtic's Northern Ireland soccer stars were not the only targets of the latest bullet-in-the-post terror, Sunday Life can reveal.
Three packages — each containing a single bullet— addressed to Parkhead boss Neil Lennon and players Paddy McCourt and Niall McGinn were intercepted by postal workers in Belfast and Glasgow.
But we can disclose that, just 48 hours after their discovery earlier this month, two further packages were found by staff at the Royal Mail sorting office at Mallusk.
Both contained bullets and were addressed to two republican prisoners in Maghaberry jail.
