Claudy bomber's provo own goals

WE have pictures of the man who cops suspect built the bombs used in one of the worst massacres of the Troubles.

Nine people died, including eight-year-old Kathryn Eakin, and 30 were injured when three huge explosions ripped through the quiet Co Derry village of Claudy in a vicious no warning attack in 1972.

No-one has ever been charged in connection with the atrocity — which was so horrific that the IRA refused to admit responsibility. But the names of the Provos involved are well known and today Sunday Life publishes the first picture of the alleged bomb maker.
