Nigel Worthington would seriously consider |asking Stephen Craigan to join his Northern Ireland coaching staff once the Motherwell defender hangs up his boots for good.
Thirty-four year-old Craigan announced last week that he was retiring from |international football after earning 54 caps for his beloved country.
The Comber-born centre half will now concentrate solely on his club career with Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League.
But Northern Ireland chief Worthington, provided he is still the boss, believes Craigan, who has already taken a number of coaching courses, would be a welcome addition to his backroom team.
