A top Northern Ireland TV director has been accused of threatening to kill the owner of a popular Belfast pub.
Dander With Drennan director/producer Derek Montgomery is also charged with warning the publican that he would trash his Lonely Poet pub in east Belfast.
The 48-year-old — who has produced TV shows for BBC star Stephen Nolan — allegedly made the threats to 39-year-old Sean McDonnell on July 31 this year.
Court papers show that the alleged offences are said to have happened at the well-known Lonely Poet watering hole on the Kings Road which McDonnell has run since 2008.
