To mark the 10th year of West Coast Cooler FASHIONWEEK, we're on the look out for the perfect model to be both our Cover Girl, and star of the prestigious FASHIONWEEK catwalk.

We'll be holding a scouting session from 1-3pm at Belfast's premier shopping destination Victoria Square on Saturday, February 1 before our team of judges whittle down the entrants to 10 girls who'll take part in a shoot for Victoria Square along with our hair and make-up partners Andrew Mulvenna and Paddy McGurgan.

Then the judges' top three finalists will be whisked away courtesy of our airline partners Jet2.com for a glamorous photoshoot at the luxurious Natural Retreats villas in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote.

Our top three shortlisted finalists will also take part in Fashionweek's catwalk shows in March, where the overall winner will be announced. The lucky lady will take home not just the sought after title, but a cover shoot with the Sunday Life as well as a glittering prize package from our partners too.

CMPR model boss Cathy Martin said she is "searching for a star" who can take part in Belfast Fashionweek before going on to even bigger things.

"I would strongly encourage anyone who feels they have what it takes to come along to Victoria Square on Saturday February 1 from 1-3pm for the final scout," she said.

"Pop along, enter the Cover Girl competition and you never know what it might lead to. Good luck!"

For those who can't make it to Victoria Square on either scouting day, we're also giving readers the opportunity to enter online by uploading photographs to the Belfast Fashionweek Facebook page at www.facebook.com/belfastfw

Previous Cover Girl finalists have included Kiera Gormley, now an international modelling star with shoots for Italian Vogue as well as a global Burberry campaign, who got her big break as a north Belfast schoolgirl when she made it to the 1998 Sunday Life Cover Girl final.
