A man who changed his name by deed poll to Hannibal has been convicted of trying to bite a police officer.
Bangor man Hannibal Hanley (formerly David Hanley) also defecated on the floor of three different police cells and smeared the walls of one with his excrement, a court has heard.
The 26-year-old from Balloo Road in the seaside town was found guilty of 10 crimes last week, including three counts of criminal damage and three assaults on police.
